Tresta Flights, operated by US Auto Solutions LLC, acts as an independent travel agency. We do not operate or control any aircraft or airport facilities. Baggage policies, allowances, and fees are set exclusively by the operating airline and may change at any time without notice.
The information below is provided as a general guide only. Always verify current baggage rules directly with your operating airline before travel, as policies vary significantly by carrier, route, fare type, and frequent flyer status.
1. General Baggage Allowances by Cabin Class
The following table provides typical allowances. Actual allowances depend on the specific airline and ticket conditions.
| Cabin | Carry-On | Checked Baggage | Fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Economy | 1 personal item + 1 carry-on (airline permitting) | Typically 1–2 bags at 23 kg / 50 lbs each | Vary by airline and route |
| Premium Economy | 1 personal item + 1 carry-on | Typically 2 bags at 23 kg / 50 lbs each | Often reduced or waived |
| Business Class | 1 personal item + 2 carry-on bags | Typically 2–3 bags at 32 kg / 70 lbs each | Usually included |
| First Class | 1 personal item + 2 carry-on bags | 2–3 bags at 32 kg / 70 lbs each | Usually included |
2. Excess and Oversize Baggage
Most airlines charge additional fees for bags that exceed weight or size limits. Oversize fees typically apply to items larger than 62 linear inches (length + width + height). Overweight fees apply to bags exceeding the per-piece weight allowance. These charges are collected directly by the airline at check-in and are not included in the fare quoted by Tresta Flights.
3. Special Items
Sporting equipment (golf bags, skis, surfboards, bicycles), musical instruments, and mobility aids are subject to individual airline policies and may require advance arrangement. Contact the airline directly at least 72 hours before departure.
4. Restricted and Prohibited Items
Airlines and aviation authorities impose strict restrictions on what may be carried on board or checked in. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Lithium batteries exceeding 100 Wh (carry-on only where permitted)
- Flammable liquids and gases
- Firearms and ammunition (subject to strict checked-baggage regulations)
- Liquids exceeding 100ml (3.4oz) in carry-on baggage (TSA/international security rules)
For the definitive list of prohibited items, consult the TSA What Can I Bring guide and your airline.
5. Liability
Tresta Flights and US Auto Solutions LLC accept no liability for lost, delayed, or damaged baggage. All baggage claims must be directed to the operating airline. International baggage liability is governed by the Montreal Convention; domestic liability in the United States is governed by Department of Transportation regulations.
